Comet P40 Oil Kit

This kit includes all three oils you need to ensure your Comet P40 Soft Wash Sprayer is running at peak efficiency. Engine oil (10w-30), gearbox oil (80w-90), and Comet P40 pump oil (30w non-detergent (AW100)). The Comet P40 sprayer has three components that require routine oil changes and maintenance:

1. The engine that creates power (typically a GX200)
2. The gearbox that connects the pump to the engine drive shaft and modifies the RPMs of the engine to be compatible with the pump
3. The Comet P40 pump that utilizes the power of the engine drive shaft via the gearbox to create suction and subsequent pressure on the outlet side

Each of these components in the Comet P40 sprayer require DIFFERENT OILS. We designed this oil kit to make it easy for you to know which oils to replace, where, when, and how. Each Comet P40 Oil Kit includes step by step instructions on how to properly change your pump oils as well as a FREE oil funnel for spill-free oil changes.
