MTM Hydro RotoJet Turbo Nozzle

MTM Hydro RotoJet Turbo Nozzle

Product Description
Shipping & Returns

The RotoJet turbo nozzle spins a 0° jet into a 25° rotating cone, so you cut like a pencil tip and cover like a fan. It's German-made, brass core with ceramic internals, and it has no gears or bearings to wear out. Sized to your machine at 5,000 or 5,800 PSI.

Key Features

  • 0° jet in a rotating cone: Cuts like a 0° tip and covers like a 25° fan, clearing concrete, masonry, and heavy buildup faster than a fixed tip.
  • German-made brass and ceramic: Brass core with a ceramic orifice and rotor. The ceramic holds the pattern and outlasts throwaway rotary tips.
  • No gears, teeth, or bearings: A ceramic pin rides in a ceramic seat. Fewer moving parts means fewer ways for it to fail.
  • Two sizes, matched to your GPM: 7.0 orifice at 5,000 PSI or 11.0 orifice at 5,800 PSI. The orifice number is the GPM the tip is built for.
  • Rebuildable, not disposable: When the ceramic wears, drop in a repair kit matched to your orifice and PSI instead of tossing the nozzle.
  • Ships bare, 1/4" female inlet: Threads onto a lance. Add a 1/4" quick-connect plug (sold separately) to run it in a QC setup.

Serviceable Yes. Rebuild kit matched to orifice and PSI
SKU 16.0086 (7.0 / 5,000 PSI), 16.0102 (11.0 / 5,800 PSI)

What's Included

  • One RotoJet turbo nozzle in your chosen size (7.0 or 11.0)
  • Bare female-threaded nozzle. No quick-connect plug included.

Fits gas and high-flow pressure washers matched by GPM and PSI. The orifice number is the GPM the tip is sized for, so a 7 GPM machine takes the 7.0 and an 11 GPM machine takes the 11.0. Oversize it and you lose pressure. Undersize it and you backload the pump. The inlet is 1/4" female, so thread in a 1/4" quick-connect plug (not included) and confirm BSP vs NPT before you buy fittings. It's not for cars, siding, stucco, wood, shingles, or any soft wash chemical.

How It Works

Water forces through a small ceramic orifice into a 0° jet, and a ceramic pin spins that jet into a 25° cone. You get the impact of a 0° tip across a wider path, which clears concrete, brick, pavers, stone, and equipment faster than a fixed fan. Always start it pointing down so the ceramic pin seats before the water hits full pressure. Start it aimed up and you risk chipping the internals. It etches and gouges, so keep it on hard surfaces and off wood, siding, stucco, paint, screens, and vehicles.

It runs plain high-pressure water, not chemical. The brass corrodes if SH sits on it, so don't run bleach through it. For chemical, use a downstream injector or an X-Jet at low pressure, and flush the nozzle with fresh water if it ever contacts SH.

Frequently Asked Questions

What size RotoJet turbo nozzle do I need?

Match the orifice to your machine's GPM. The 7.0 suits machines up to about 7 GPM at 5,000 PSI, and the 11.0 suits machines up to about 11 GPM at 5,800 PSI. Oversize loses pressure, and undersize backloads the pump.

Can I use a turbo nozzle for soft washing?

No. It's a high-pressure water tip, not a chemical applicator, and the brass corrodes if SH sits on it. For chemical, run a downstream injector or an X-Jet M5 Nozzle at low pressure, and flush the turbo with fresh water if it ever contacts SH.

Why do I have to start a turbo nozzle pointing down?

Starting down lets the ceramic pin seat in its ceramic seat before the jet hits full pressure. Start it aimed up and the pin can chip the internals. Point it down, pull the trigger, then bring it onto the surface.
