The Soft Wash Shooter Tip is a stainless steel HydroJet ER nozzle that throws diluted chemical from the ground to a third-story roofline. It ships in three orifice sizes matched to your pump's flow, 2 to 12 GPM.
Key Features
-
Stainless steel body: Shrugs off SH where a brass shooter tip pits and starts leaking inside a season.
-
Multi-chambered bore: Holds the stream together and cuts atomization, so chemical reaches height instead of misting out halfway up the wall.
-
Three flow-matched sizes: ER120 for 2 to 5 GPM, ER150 for 4 to 8 GPM, and ER180 for 7 to 12 GPM. Match the tip to your pump.
-
Rated to 5000 PSI: Far above any soft wash pump's output, so the tip is never the bottleneck.
-
1/4" MPT inlet: Threads onto a soft wash wand, lance, or JROD holder. For a quick-connect wand, add a 1/4" QC-plug-to-MPT adapter.

What's Included
- One stainless steel HydroJet ER shooter tip in the size you select (120, 150, or 180)
Fits soft wash wands and lances with a 1/4" pipe-thread fitting, JROD-style holders, and downstream injection setups on pumps from 2 to 12 GPM. It isn't a quick-connect nozzle out of the box, so a QC-socket wand needs a 1/4" QC-plug-to-MPT adapter.
How It Works
A shooter tip is a fixed-orifice, low-pressure, high-volume nozzle that threads onto the end of a soft wash gun or lance. The multi-chambered bore organizes the flow so the diluted chemical stream holds together and resists misting, which is what lets a ground crew hit second and third-story siding, roofs, and gutters without a ladder. The three sizes differ by orifice bore matched to pump flow, not spray angle. Too small chokes the flow. Too large drops pressure at the tip and kills reach.

Frequently Asked Questions
Which HydroJet ER shooter tip do I need for my pump?
Match the orifice to your pump's flow. Run the ER120 on 2 to 5 GPM, the ER150 on 4 to 8 GPM, and the ER180 on 7 to 12 GPM. If you're between sizes or planning to move to a bigger pump, size up.
Will sodium hypochlorite corrode the shooter tip?
It's stainless, so it holds up to SH far better than a brass tip. Rinse it with clean water after each job anyway. SH left sitting in the orifice overnight is what wears tips out.
How far will a soft wash shooter tip reach?
Reach comes mostly from pump GPM, not the tip alone. On a properly sized rig, it'll carry chemical to a third-story roofline from the ground. Put it on a bigger pump and it throws farther.
