The WaterBoss Gun SS Swivel is a hardened 416 stainless steel gun swivel that threads inline between your gun and hose. A ball-bearing race lets both halves spin 360° under pressure, so the hose stops fighting you every time you change spray angle.
Key Features
-
Hardened 416 stainless body: Resists corrosion in wet, chemical environments where brass swivels pit and seize.
-
Live ball-bearing rotation: Spins a full 360° under pressure, so panning the gun doesn't torque or kink the hose.
-
3500 PSI, 180°F rated: Well above soft wash pressures and most residential machines. Don't exceed either limit.
-
1/2" NPT male by female: Threads inline as an adapter between a 1/2" gun inlet and the supply hose.
-
Certified lead-free: Safe for potable and rinse-water lines.
-
Takes strain off the gun inlet: Less wrist twist over a long day and less rotational wear on the gun's inlet threads.

What's Included
- One stainless steel gun swivel, single piece, 1/2" NPT male by female
- No adapters or hardware included
Fits any WaterBoss gun with a 1/2" NPT inlet, plus any standard 1/2" NPT trigger gun, hose, or lance. The male end threads into the gun or hose and the female accepts the mating side. Guns with a 3/8" NPT inlet need the 3/8" swivel instead. Skip it on the WaterBoss 750-IL (In-Line) gun, which already ships with a built-in stainless swivel.
How the Stainless Steel Gun Swivel Works
The swivel threads inline between the gun inlet and the supply hose. Its internal ball-bearing race lets the two halves rotate independently while the line is pressurized. As you pan and turn the gun, the hose stays put instead of winding up. That cuts hose torsion and the early hose failure it causes.
The real day-to-day win is ergonomic. It keeps your wrist and the hose from twisting when you change spray angle. It won't pull existing loops out of a hose lying on the ground, so you'll still walk out a non-reeled line.

Frequently Asked Questions
Does a gun swivel actually prevent hose kinks?
Partially. The main benefit is ergonomic. It stops your wrist and the hose from twisting when you pan side to side. It won't pull existing loops out of a hose lying on the ground, so you'll still walk the line out or run it off a reel.
Is a stainless steel gun swivel safe for SH?
The 416 stainless body resists corrosion and won't pit like brass. The internal seal compound isn't published, and nitrile, the common seal on swivels in this class, is the weakest elastomer against strong oxidizers like SH. For water, rinse, and diluted soft wash mixes it holds up fine. For heavy daily undiluted bleach, ask us about a Viton-sealed swivel.
Do I need this swivel if I run the WaterBoss 750-IL?
No. The 750-IL In-Line gun ships with a built-in stainless inlet swivel, so a standalone unit just duplicates it. Add one to any other 1/2" NPT gun that doesn't already have a swivel.
