What's Included
- One High Flow Soft Wash Gun with integral adjustable cone nozzle and built-in 1/2" swivel inlet
No lance, extension wand, separate tips, or adapters. It's matched to gas diaphragm pumps and 1" AODD pumps that can feed its flow. The inlet is 1/2" BSP-F, so connect a 5/8" or 1/2" soft wash hose with the right fitting, and thread a 1/2" MPT lance to the outlet if you want more reach. If you're adapting from NPT, confirm the adapter, because BSP and NPT don't seal cleanly together. It isn't a pressure-washer gun. The body maxes at 350 PSI, nowhere near the 3000 to 4000 PSI a pressure washer puts out, so keep it off the machine. It's also more gun than a single low-flow 12V pump needs. If you're running around 5.5 GPM, a lighter ball-valve gun handles it better.
How It Works
The trigger is your on/off at the end of the soft wash hose. Squeeze it and the stainless piston lifts off its seat, letting solution flow through to the adjustable cone. The screw and trigger travel set the pattern from a tight pencil jet to a wide cone. For soft washing, the gun has to pass high flow without restriction so it doesn't choke the pump, and it has to take the chemical. This one passes the flow and upgrades the wetted parts to stainless and Viton.
SH is hard on any gun. Flush this one out with clean water after every use, and rebuild the piston and seals with a repair kit when they wear. That's the routine that keeps it working.
