The SGS35 spray gun is MTM Hydro's full-size high-pressure trigger gun, rated to 5,000 PSI and 12 GPM. This black version ships with stainless quick connects installed. An integrated stainless live swivel and easy-hold trigger cut hose kink and hand fatigue. Made in Italy.
Key Features
-
5,000 PSI, 12 GPM: Handles commercial cold- and hot-water machines up to a 5,000 PSI rating, a step up from the 4,000 PSI SGS28.
-
Integrated stainless live swivel: The inlet rotates 360° under pressure, so the hose won't kink or twist your wrist through a long session.
-
Ceramic ball valve: A ceramic ball in the nickel-plated brass valve resists wear better than a plain-brass budget gun.
-
Stainless QC fittings installed: Ships with a stainless quick-connect plug and coupler, Loctite'd so they don't back out.
-
Easy-hold trigger: Lighter holding force than a standard trigger gun, which saves your hand on long flatwork jobs.
-
Food-grade ribbed housing: The shockproof reinforced-plastic shell protects your hand and supports the internal pipe.

What's Included
- 1 black SGS35 spray gun with integrated stainless swivel
- Stainless QC plug (inlet) and coupler (outlet), pre-installed
Connects between your pressure hose and a lance, wand, nozzle, or foam cannon. The 3/8" inlet takes a standard pressure hose or an M22 14mm adapter, and the 1/4" outlet takes quick-connect nozzles and MTM foam cannons like the PF22.2. It's not for potable water, and it's not a low-pressure 12V soft wash gun.
How the SGS35 Spray Gun Works
The SGS35 sits between your pressure hose and the lance or nozzle. Pressurized water enters the stainless swivel inlet, and pulling the trigger opens an internal ball-and-seat valve that sends flow to the 1/4" outlet. Release the trigger and the valve closes. The live swivel lets the hose rotate 360° under pressure so it won't kink or tangle, and the easy-hold trigger drops the holding force so your hand lasts through a full day.
It's rated to 320°F, but that covers the internal piping. The factory nitrile o-rings top out around 250°F, so for hot-water work swap to Viton seals, which clear the gun's 320°F rating. One honest note on chemicals: the valve is nickel-plated brass with nitrile seals, so this is a pressure-washing and detailing gun, not a soft wash gun. Daily SH corrodes brass and breaks down nitrile, so for bleach work run a poly or stainless soft wash gun instead.

Frequently Asked Questions
What's the difference between the SGS35 and the SGS28?
Size and pressure ceiling. The SGS35 is the full-size gun rated to 5,000 PSI; the SGS28 is the smaller snub gun rated to 4,000 PSI. Both flow 12 GPM and both have the integrated stainless swivel. Pick the SGS35 if you run a higher-pressure machine or want a fuller grip.
Can I use the SGS35 for soft washing or bleach?
No. It has a nickel-plated brass valve and nitrile seals, and daily SH corrodes brass and breaks down nitrile. It's a high-pressure pressure-washing gun. For soft wash and bleach, run a poly or stainless gun like the WaterBoss 750 Soft Wash Gun or the ST-510 Poly Trigger Gun.
Can I run hot water through the SGS35?
It's rated to 320°F, but that covers the internal piping, not the seals. The factory nitrile o-rings top out around 250°F, so for hot-water systems swap to Viton seals. Viton is good to about 400°F, which clears the gun's rating.
