Product reviews

The Soft Wash Pressure Gauge is the genuine Annovi Reverberi gauge (AR3240470) built for the AR45 diaphragm pump. Glycerin-filled, with a color-zoned dial and a dual PSI/bar scale, it reads the pump's low-pressure range so you can see what the rig's actually building.

Key Features

  • Genuine AR OEM (AR3240470): The factory gauge for the AR45, position #19 on the pump diagram. Correct thread and correct low-pressure scale, not a hardware-store guess.
  • Glycerin-filled: Damps the needle flutter a diaphragm pump's pulsation throws at a dry gauge, so the reading holds steady and stays easy to read.
  • Color-zoned dial: Green, yellow, and red zones give an at-a-glance read on whether the pump's in range or climbing toward over-pressure.
  • Dual PSI and bar scale: Reads in both units and tops out at 350 PSI, scaled for the AR45's range. The pump itself maxes out around 290 PSI.
  • Reads off the regulator: It sits just off the unloader on the outlet manifold, so you can confirm the pump's building pressure and the regulator's set where you want it.

What's Included

  • 1 glycerin-filled pressure gauge (AR3240470)

It's the factory gauge for the AR45, so on that pump it threads straight into the gauge port on the top outlet manifold. It also fits the Comet P40, but that install needs an additional bushing to adapt the connection. It's not a drop-in. No bushing or adapter is included. AR45 pumps built after mid-2024 ship without a factory gauge, so this is the part that adds it back.

How It Works

A bourdon-tube gauge reads pressure mechanically. Fluid pushes into a curved metal tube, the tube flexes in proportion to the pressure, and that motion drives the needle. The glycerin fill damps the pulsation a diaphragm pump throws off, so the needle holds steady instead of bouncing. It also lubricates the movement and keeps condensation off the lens.

On the AR45 it threads into the gauge port on the top outlet manifold, just off the regulator. That lets you confirm the pump's building correct pressure and the unloader's set right. The color zones give you the read without doing math.

SH is hard on any gauge. Flush the rig with fresh water at the end of a bleach day and keep a spare on the shelf. Gauges drift and stick over time on chemical service, and a stuck needle is a bad way to find out your pressure's off.

Frequently Asked Questions

Does the soft wash pressure gauge fit a Comet P40?

Yes, but it's not a drop-in. The gauge is the factory part for the AR45 and threads straight into that pump's gauge port. On a Comet P40 you'll need an additional bushing to adapt the connection.

Why is the pressure gauge glycerin filled?

A diaphragm pump pulses, and that pulsation makes a dry gauge needle bounce so you can't get a clean read. The glycerin fill damps the flutter, lubricates the movement, and keeps condensation off the dial.

Where does the pressure gauge install on an AR45?

It threads into the gauge port on the top outlet manifold, just off the regulator. That spot lets you confirm the pump's building pressure and the unloader's set right. AR45 pumps built after mid-2024 ship without a factory gauge, so this adds it back.
