How to Choose the Right Whisper Wash Surface Cleaner
The right Whisper Wash comes down to one number: your machine's GPM. Everything else, the cover, the swivel, the wheels, follows from how much water you're pushing. Put too big a cover on a machine that can't feed it and the bar drags, the clean turns weak, and you're left staring at stripes. Size it right and a driveway you'd crawl across with a wand is done in a few passes.
Match the cover to your machine's GPM
Bigger covers need more water to keep the spray bar turning with cleaning force. A 4 GPM machine drives the 16″ or 19″. Run 5.5 to 8 GPM and the 24″ Ground Force is the sweet spot. To push a 28″, a 36″, or one of the dual-swivel Mondos, you want 8 GPM or more. Every model with a published rating tops out at 5000 PSI, so pressure isn't the limit. Flow is. If you're between sizes or planning a bigger machine soon, call us before you order.
Single swivel or dual swivel
Most units here run one swivel and one spray bar. That handles residential flatwork: driveways, patios, sidewalks, and pool decks. The Mini Mondo 31″ and Mondo 49″ run two swivels and two bars, so one machine covers ground that used to take two. The Mini Mondo's dual setup runs about 33% more efficient than a single swivel. If you're cleaning parking lots, warehouse floors, or big commercial slabs, that's the side of the lineup you want.
Wheels, casters, and handles
The 16″ has no wheels at all. It floats on a hover cover, which keeps it light for smaller jobs. Step up to the 24″ Ground Force and you get four 3″ pivoting casters plus a Flip-N-Fold handle that folds down for transport. The Big Guy 28″ runs a front caster and two 8″ no-flat rear wheels, so one hand steers it. The Maxima, Mini Mondo, and Mondo all roll on four pivoting casters, and the two Mondos flip to longways operation when a space is too tight to turn.

Frequently Asked Questions
What size Whisper Wash surface cleaner do I need?
Match it to your machine's GPM, not to the size of the job. A 4 GPM machine runs the 16″ or 19″. Around 5.5 to 8 GPM fits the 24″ Ground Force. For the 28″, 36″, or a dual-swivel Mondo, plan on 8 GPM or more. Going bigger than your flow can drive is the number one cause of slow, streaky cleaning.
What's the difference between the Mondo 49″ and the Mini Mondo 31″?
Both run dual swivels and dual spray bars, and both are rated to 5000 PSI. The Mondo 49″ has the wider path for big open slabs and tops out at 20 GPM. The Mini Mondo 31″ does the same dual-bar work in a footprint that fits tight spaces and tops out at 12 GPM. The Mondo runs $2,749, the Mini Mondo $2,149.
Why does a surface cleaner leave zebra striping?
Striping usually means the spray bar isn't spinning fast enough for your flow, which happens when the cleaner's too big for your machine or the swivel's worn. Whisper Wash's machined, balanced bar and signature swivel keep the bar turning evenly so you don't get stripes. If you're seeing stripes on a properly sized unit, check the swivel bearings first.
Can I run hot water through these?
The Classic 19″ is rated for hot or cold water. If you're running a burner with another model in the line, check that unit's temperature rating before you push hot water through it. Hot water cuts grease and gum faster on commercial flatwork, so it's worth running when the unit's rated for it.
What's the difference between a hover cover and casters?
The 16″ floats on a hover cover with no wheels. It glides over the surface and stays light, which suits smaller flat areas. The bigger units roll on 3″ pivoting casters or fixed wheels that carry the weight and track straight across long runs of concrete.
Do these come with spray tips?
Every unit ships with 2 tips, and several offer a 4-tip option at checkout. If you need a different tip count for your spray bar, call us at (561) 314-0761 and we'll sort out availability and pricing.
